-How long should we keep vehicles off the surface after sealing?

A: Please give the seal coat 24 hours after the final coat to cure prior to opening back up to traffic.

-What other weather requirements are needed when sealcoating?

A: You should not apply sealcoating if rain is imminent within a 24 hour period.

-Do I need to seal coat my driveway every year?

A: In the tahoe area we recommend every other year. Unless Its Never Been Sealed We Recommend 2-3 years every year (depending on asphalt wear)

-What does sealing a driveway do?

A: By regularly applying a quality driveway sealer to your concrete you can prevent water, sunlight, and air from permeating your asphalt and prevent these problems. As an added benefit, driveway sealing also repels oil spills and leaks and makes it much easier for you to sweep and clean your driveway surface.

-When should you sealcoat a new driveway?

A: Typically you want to wait a minimum of 6 months before applying sealcoat to fresh asphalt to give it time to fully cure, compact and settle. You might be able to get by with less time in some cases, but 6 months is usually the absolute minimum as a rule of thumb.

-How long do you have to stay off a driveway after it is sealed?

A:  In full sunlight exposure, you can walk on your driveway in 2-4 hours. You may drive on it after 24 hours.

-Why Fill Cracks?

A: It's crucial to maintain your asphalt correctly, especially with crack filling. Water can leak into cracks, causing your entire asphalt base to weaken and eventually fail. When you fix cracks in your asphalt, you're lengthening its lifespan.

What causes the sealer to flake?

A: Gas Spills & Oil Leaks,  Water that stays standing on driveway, Not removing snow/ice over the winter, Over sealing driveway, places where your roof drips directly onto asphalt

What Is Defensible Space?

A: Defensible space is a concept of maintaining an area around structures free and clear of flammable materials to mitigate the potential damage from wild and accidental fires. Creating a defensible space can also decrease the chance of fires spreading from private property to nearby wilderness areas,and it helps protect your home from catching fire.

Does creating a defensible space require any special skills or equipment?

A: No, Defensible space employs routine gardening and landscape  maintenance practices such as appropriate plant selection, mowing, pruning, plant removal, weeding & irrigation.

Does having defensible space guarantee my house will survive a wild fire?

A: No. Under extreme conditions, almost any house can burn. But having a defensible space will significantly improve the odds of your home surviving a wildfire.

Do you off-haul debris?

A: Yes , we have the equipment to off-haul 

debris & not worry about ordering a waste bin. 

Do you address insurance / HOA violations?

A: Yes, If you provide us with your inspection report we can address all the needed issues to be compliant with you insurance /  HOA.
